All-on-4 Dental Implants

Are you tired of dentures that slip, but have been told you do not qualify for implant-supported dentures?

All-on-4® dental implants could change your world. This advanced method is faster, more affordable, and allows more people to qualify.

Let Hopkin Oral Surgery in Salt Lake City, UT, share how the proven All-on-4 method can securely restore your smile...

Have You Been Told You Aren't a Good Candidate for Implants? It's Time to Get a Second Opinion

Even if you've been told you don't qualify for an implant-supported denture, you still may be a good candidate for All-on-4 dental implants that can support a full arch of teeth, either top or bottom.

Lack Sufficient Jawbone?

If you've been told you lack the necessary jawbone tissue required for traditional dental implants, you may still qualify for this newer, more advanced technique. Because the implants are smaller and strategically placed, they require less bone mass as an anchor.

Poor Health?

If you've been told you are not healthy enough to undergo multiple surgical procedures, you may still qualify since the new method often does not require the added steps of bone grafting and sinus lifts.

Cost Is Holding You Back?

If you cannot afford traditional dental implants, the All-on-4 method avoids the excessive cost, additional procedures, and lengthy recovery period that comes with traditional implants.

You Don't Have to Live With Tooth Loss Call us today to start your smile restoration journey!

All-on-4 Dental Implants: A More Affordable Alternative to Traditional Implants

With just four dental implants, you can enjoy many of the same benefits as a traditional implant-supported denture, including a stable base for your denture and a fully functional smile that looks like natural teeth.

All-on-4 dental treatments place implants at strategic places along the jaw. It's a valuable option for dental patients who have lost bone in their jaw and do not qualify for traditional implants. With fewer implants, the technique is less invasive and it may even cost less than a denture that requires eight or more implants. Treatment costs at our practice average $25,000 per arch.

If you need to replace a full arch of teeth, Dr. Dustin J. Hopkin can restore your smile using the All-on-4® dental implant treatment at his Salt Lake City, UT, office.

How All-on-4 Is Different

This innovative method developed by Nobel Biocare® allows for a long-lasting solution in less time and for less cost than a traditional implant-secured denture, which requires a dentist to place as many as eight dental implants.
All-on-4 implant placement
Because All-on-4 dental implants are placed at an angle instead of directly down, they can support an entire arch of teeth and are generally a more affordable option.

Dentists sometimes advertise All-on-4 implants as same-day teeth because they can attach restorations immediately so patients don’t have to live with missing teeth during the healing phase.

Are You Ready to Start Enjoying Life Again?

Put your trust in the hands of a board-certified oral surgeon conveniently located in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Hopkin specializes in implant placement, has more than 10 years of experience, and uses state-of-the-art technology to attain the best possible outcomes. Using All-on-4 implants, our dentist can replace a missing tooth, restore your smile and provide the same benefits as traditional dental implants at a more affordable cost.

To find out if this advanced dental treatment is right for you, submit your questions to Dr. Hopkin or contact our practice in Salt Lake City, UT, to schedule your dental consultation.

Dr Hopkins and his staff were kind and professional. They answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. The procedure was quick and painless (after the numbing of course) and I have been extremely happy with my implant.

All-on-4 Treatments Offer a Satisfying Solution to Patients

Less is More  The Case For Fewer,  Strategically Placed Implants

Traditional Implants

With traditional dental implants, you may need as many as eight posts to support an entire dental arch. Additionally, traditional implants require adequate bone tissue and a lengthy recovery period of three to six months after the initial surgery, which may leave you without a replacement for your teeth while you wait for the surrounding tissue to heal. Only after this recovery period is complete can you attach implant-based restorations like dentures, crowns, and dental bridges.

All-on-4

By comparison, All-on-4 implants can support a full arch of teeth with as few as four implants, resulting in fewer office visits. In most cases, our dentist can attach tooth restorations to your implants on the same day as your surgery so you don't have to go without your smile during the recovery period. These implants also don't require the same amount of bone tissue as traditional dental implants, so they are also a great option for patients who have lost a lot of bone due to atrophy or periodontal disease.

"I am a general dentist and have had referred many cases to Dr. Hopkin. He is a gifted surgeon who has amazing interpersonal skill ... After seeing his work for the past two years, if my family or I needed to see an oral surgeon, we would be going to Dr. Hopkin (and I don't say that about all the dentists and specialists I have worked with)." Steps to a Better Smile

Dr. Hopkin can give you life-changing results with a single procedure.

Consultation

During a consultation with Dr. Hopkin, he will determine whether or not you are a good candidate for All-on-4 implants based on your current oral health and your needs.

Planning

We will scan your mouth with 3D imaging technology to create a precise model so our dentist can locate the best spots to place your implants.

Placement

Similar to traditional implants, patients receive anesthesia before small incisions are made to reach desired sites for the implants. Our surgeon will then place the implants before sealing the incision.

Recovery

In most cases, we can immediately attach restorations to your implants on the same day of your surgery. The average recovery period lasts from 3-6 months.

Permanent Restoration

Once the tissue surrounding your implants has fully healed, we can attach your personalized, permanent denture to restore your smile.

Recovery and Aftercare

The recovery and aftercare process for All-on-4 implants is very similar to traditional implants. The average recovery time varies for each patient, but it usually takes from three to six months for the tissue around the implants to fully heal and integrate with your body.

Once the implants are fully fused with your jaw, your temporary denture will be replaced by a custom final denture. To maintain both the implants and your restoration, you should practice good hygiene and schedule regular checkups with Dr. Hopkin.

Sedation Dentistry

Unfortunately, dental anxiety can deter patients from seeking the treatment they need. As a remedy, we offer various forms of sedation dentistry to help you feel relaxed and comfortable during treatments. We offer nitrous oxide gas, oral sedation, and intravenous sedation.

Concerned About Cost?

All-on-4 implants are typically less expensive than traditional implant-supported dentures, but we understand that cost can still be a concern. To help as many people as possible in the Salt Lake City area receive the dental care they need, Dr. Hopkin's oral surgery practice offers both CareCredit® and in-house financing.

Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Implants Using the All-on-4 Method

Does it hurt?

You will receive anesthesia before your procedure begins, so you will not feel any pain during placement. However, implant placement is a surgical procedure, so some post-operative discomfort should be expected. This pain is typically managed easily with ice, over-the-counter pain medication, and prescription medication if needed. It is recommended that you eat a soft diet while your incisions heal to reduce irritation. If you experience extreme pain or pain that cannot be managed, please contact us immediately so we can address your discomfort as soon as possible.

How long will my implants and restoration last?

Implants are made of durable titanium and are designed to last a lifetime. Your custom dentures will wear over time and will eventually need to be replaced. However, with proper care, your dentures can last for a decade or longer. Your dentist will provide you with all the information you need to keep your new smile beautiful for years to come.

Do I need to remove my dentures to clean?

Implant-supported dentures do not require adhesives and remain in place except during routine dental exams and cleanings. Your dentist will secure the dentures directly to your dental implants, and you will treat your new smile just as you would your natural teeth. Because the dentures are attached to the implants in your jaw, there is no need to remove them and no risk of embarrassing slippage.
